Unique Identification cards or Aadhar cards were made compulsory by the Delhi government to access any government service. However, Noida being the business hub situated very close to Delhi was not lucky enough as residents are yet to enroll themselves for these cards. Nandan Nilekani, Chairman of the UIDAI, planned to establish uniqueness of individual and wanted to document each and every resident of India through Aadhar cards. But, since its inception in 2010, things have gone haywire as hardly any UID camp has been conducted in Noida. Nearly one-and-a-half years back, an Aadhaar Enrollment centre was inaugurated at Jaipuria Plaza at Sector 26, Noida. The agency carrying out the project was Karvy Data Management Services Limited and apart from that Noida head post office was carrying out the work.

Apple Inc is setting up a high-speed network and upgrading its data centers to compete better with Amazon.com Inc, Google Inc and Microsoft Corp in cloud services. New Delhi: After receiving over two lakh applications online in nine days, the Delhi University today opened its offline admission procedure to undergraduate courses at nine registration centres.

New Delhi: Delhi University's online registration for undergraduate admissions entered its sixth day on Tuesday with varsity receiving over 1.8 lakh applications in total. Until 5 pm on Tuesday, the University received a total of 1,81,093 applications, of which 98,617 candidates have already deposited their fees.

New Delhi: The government is not considering any proposal to make it mandatory for citizens to get Aadhaar card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Parliament was informed on Friday.

New Delhi: The process of admission to 54,000 seats in Delhi University's undergraduate courses has begun from May 28, 2015 with the varsity putting in place many changes this year. The last date for online registration is June 15, while offline forms will be accepted at nine registration centres from June 5 to 15.
