Jammu: A policeman was killed on Sunday in a gunfight between security forces and terrorists in Kashmir's Poonch district, officials said. One terrorist was killed in the ongoing operation. According to media reports, three to four terrorists are still holed up in Poonch area.

Baghdad: A suicide car bombing ripped through an outdoor market in a Shiite-dominated northeastern district of Baghdad today morning, killing at least 11 people, officials said, as government forces deployed in most of the Iraqi capital and closed off major roads around the city.
