Mumbai: The just-released Census figures are "disturbing" and the rise in the Muslim population is because of "politics of religion", the Shiv Sena has said. The party, a constituent of the NDA governments in Maharashtra and at the Centre, also said the country is still a Hindu nation that has the "poison of secularism" in it.
