New Delhi: Delhi High Court today sought the response of CBI on the appeals filed by Directors of Jharkhand Ispat Pvt Ltd (JIPL), RS Rungta and RC Rungta, challenging their conviction and the four-year sentence awarded to them in a coal scam case.

New Delhi: As per the official records, this summer 256 districts in 10 states are reeling under severe drought and around one-third of India is facing scarcity of water. The Supreme Court of India has questioned the governments for not taking preventive actions before summer. Environmentalists say that due to lack of long term water conservation plans in the country, we are unable to curb drought and store enough water. In such a scenario, the well is a key source of water, as has been since the establishment of human civilisation across the world.
