Chandigarh: Cold conditions today prevailed in Punjab and Haryana with minimum temperatures hovering below normal level in various parts of both states. Ludhiana, the industrial hub of Punjab, turned out to be the coldest place in both states as it recorded a minimum temperature of 3.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal, an MeT department report said here.

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswara said here on Tuesday that the agreement between Chief Minister N Chanrababu Naidu and Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaih on Tungabhadra canals would provide supply water to about 4.5 lakh acres in fourdistricts of Rayalaseema in Andhra Pradesh.
