UPSC results declared; Delhi women among top three

New Delhi: Women candidates have bagged all the three top slots in the prestigious civil services examinations to select IAS and IPS officers among others. Ira Singhal has topped the examinations followed by Renu Raj and Nidhi Gupta, who have secured second and third position respectively, according to the results announced by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today.

Adelaide:  An Australian woman whose skinny jeans cut off the blood supply to her calf muscles collapsed and was forced to crawl to seek help, media reported on Tuesday. The 35-year-old woman from Adelaide, who doctors have labelled a 'fashion victim', suffered nerve damage severe enough to bring about numbness. She had to spend four days in hospital.
