Jaipur: Searing heat wave affected normal life in most parts of Rajasthan as Sriganganagar continued to be the hottest place in the state with a maximum of 43.5 degree Celsius.
    
Jaipur registered a high of 41.2 degree Celsius, Kota 43.3 deg C, Churu 43 deg C, Jaisalmer 42.5 deg C and Bikaner 41.6 deg C.
    
Several other places also recorded day temperature around 40 deg C, according to meteorological department.
