Gwalior: Observing the declining sex ratio in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will flag off the second phase of the ‘Beti Bachao Abhiyaan’ (Save the girl child campaign) in Bhind on November 5. The Chief Minister will spread the message of saving the girl child by taking part in road shows in various districts.

Chauhan will be addressing a general gathering at Bhind in afternoon to appeal for saving the girl child.

Thereafter, he will visit several towns and villages in Bhind district to convince people to wake up to the cause through road shows.

It is to be noted that Chauhan had kicked off the ‘Beti Bachao Abhiyaan’ before Diwali from Daitya and had visited several towns to convey the message.

The other towns of Gwalior, Murena, Shyopur and Datiya also present a critical sex ratio with only 800 male per 1000 women.
