Lucknow: After the recent sectarian clash in old city area in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh government has made elaborate security arrangements for Barawafat procession to be taken out across the state on Friday.
   
"Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Barawafat and to avoid occurrence of any untoward incident during procession. Additional forces, which have been diverted from Kumbh in Allahabad, have been deputed in sensitive areas," ADG, Law and Order Arun Kumar told reporters here.
   
He said the state capital, which witnessed sectarian clash on January 16, has been divided in zones and sectors and CCTV
cameras have been installed at strategic points to videograph the procession.
   
Commandos have also been deployed along with RAF and PAC personnel, he added.
