  • In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng was quoting lower by 0.23 percent and Shanghai Composite was down 0.12 percent in morning trade.
  • Japan's Nikkei shed 0.24 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 1.43 percent lower in yesterday's trade.
