Hazaribagh (Jharkhand): The North Chhotanagpur Division Commissioner, Nitin Madan Kulkarni, on Sunday asked seven districts under his region to submit within three days a detailed report of how much government land was under illegal occupation.

As per the Supreme Court directive, Kulkarni asked the deputy commissioners of Hazaribagh, Koderma, Ramgarh, Giridih, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Chatra to submit the details as to how much government land was illegally used for religious places, according to official sources.

As the last date for submission of details lapsed on November 10, the letter warned that if the district failed to submit within next three days the commission would send whatever details available in the divisional office.
