Vadodara: At least seven persons, including six women, were killed and 12 others injured when their tempo was knocked down by a tractor at Anklav village in Borsad taluka of Anand district, police said on Wednesday.
    
The victims were returning to Koyali village, on the outskirts of the Vadodara city, after taking part in a programme at Bhardaran town during the ongoing Ganesh festival, when a sand-laden tractor hit their vehicle late Tuesday night, police said.
    
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. The bodies were sent for postmortem, they added.
