Washington: Released in more than 160 theaters in the United States and Canada, Shahrukh Khan's latest film 'Don 2' is doing a roaring business in North America.

Taking the benefit of the Christmas and year-end holidays wherein Indian American film lovers thronged movie theaters in large numbers, Don 2 during the first 11 days of its release grossed USD 3.3 million.

The movie also set a new record for the all-time biggest opening week for a Hindi film in North America collecting a stellar USD 2.64 million beating the USD 2.55 million that
Shahrukh's 'My Name is Khan' earned in its first seven days in February 2010.
