Ghaziabad: Campaigning for JD (U) candidate Arif Chaudhary in Modinagar constituency, party’s national Chief Sharad Yadav on Friday came down heavily on Congress and non-congress governments for the pathetic condition of the state.

While addressing a rally in village Kalchheena, he said, “Governments for past 55 years did nothing to facilitate the development of UP.”

Pointing out the problem of unemployment which is the main reason for large number of youth migrating to other states, Yadav blamed the Congress and said that in 40 years the party did nothing to address this issue.

“It is because of the past governments’ misdeeds that the state has been reeling under lack of employment. State government’s flawed policy for the last 55 years has brought UP to this abysmal condition. These governments have overlooked employment crisis.” Yadav said.

Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s appeal to people for giving Congress  another chance, Yadav asked Rahul what his party did for the development of UP after being in power for 40 years. He further said that the Congress and BJP play ‘communal’ politics.

Sharad Yadav lambasted Samajwadi Party for ‘practising’ nepotism.
