In a statement here, senior SAD leader and MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa said Kejriwal is resorting to "blatant lies" with his sole aim being to garner votes and playing "dirty" politics with the sentiments of weaker sections.

Questioning the Delhi CM, the senior SAD leader asked why so suddenly has Kejriwal developed profound love for Dalits whereas the weaker sections were facing hardships in the Jhuggis and hutments in the National capital.

He said various pro-poor welfare programmes – free medical treatment to blue card holders,  insurance cover, 200 units of free power, Atta-Dal scheme for BPL card holders besides 5 marla plots for free housing are being implemented by Punjab Government.

Reacting to promises made by the AAP leader at village Pirthipur in Rupnagar, he alleged Kejriwal is promising moon to people of Punjab especially Dalits by pledging to form a SIT to probe alleged atrocities if AAP comes to power.

Dhindsa alleged that Kejriwal was making false promises just to garner votes keeping in mind assembly elections next year.

He cited Kejriwal should first carefully check facts before making promise of providing every facility to promote education because Punjab is already one of the top three states in the country in terms of educational infrastructure.

Dhindsa claimed that the Shivlal Doda case is being dealt with strictly in accordance with provisions of law and a SIT is already probing murder of Bhim Sen Tank at Abohar.
