Patna: In an effort to showcase Bihar on the national map, Bihar Agriculture Minister, Narenda Singh showed green signal to Kharif Mahotsava chariot for every district which kick-started from local veterinary college. On this occasion, he also inaugurated a Kharif workshop.

Singh said on this occasion that special attention has been given to adopt a durable agricultural system after seeing the good prospects of 2nd green movement which tasted the success of kharif 2011 campaign.

He further said that farmers have been specially trained to prepare manure from green Moong seed.

According to Agriculture Minister this plan is being executed in a phased manner. In the first phase workshops will be organised on state level while in the second phase of the programme workers will be given training in a state level programme and also government will make available all the equipments on the training centers.
