"Shruti Haasan has been finalised as the heroine. The makers are looking for another actress to play the role of Ajitha's sister in the movie. The pre-production work is already underway. The regular shooting will start from May," a source from the film's unit said.

The source also confirmed that actress Bindu Madhavi won't be playing Ajith's sister.Model-turned-actor Kabir Singh is in talks to play the antagonist, while the rest of the cast is being finalised.

Anirudh Ravichander has been signed on to compose the tunes.
