The actress who has spend two months in a rescue home over alleged involvement in a prostitution racket has finally broken her silence over the entire incident.

Shweta said that she has no complaint against anyone except for the journalist who, during the hour of crisis made up a statement which damaged her reputation. The actress added that she had no idea about what is being circulated through media as she had no access to the newspapers and websites.

Post her arrest a daily had quoted Shweta as saying, "I have made wrong choices in my career, and I was out of money. I had to support my family and some other good causes. All the doors were closed, and some people encouraged me to get into prostitution to earn money. I was helpless, and with no option left to choose, I got involved in this act. I'm not the only one who faced this problem, and there are several other heroines who have gone through this phase."

Shweta who is rescued now, said that she had never given any such statement and the statement which circulated all over media were nothing more that outrageous lies.

Shweta said that she was the victim of the whole situation, and was not called to Hyderabad by any agent for commercial sex, as it was reported. The actress said that she was there to attend an award ceremony.

Her tickets and accommodation were arranged by the organizers of the award function, but she missed her flight in the morning. She was put in a hotel which was raided said the actress adding that she does not deny the 'raid'.

"There was a raid, I am not denying the incident but the facts are not what they've been made out to be," she emphasized.

Shweta who says she is a victim of an unfortunate incident, plans to resume her work and continue with her Indian classical music documentary project.
