Amritsar: From the field of cricket to being a judge at a laughter show on television, BJP national secretary and MP from Amritsar, Navjot Singh Sidhu, may soon be seen in yet another new look at Big Boss season-5.

Sidhu has been offered to participate in the Season 5 of Colour TV’s show, Big Boss. With this, he can be the first sitting MP to feature in the controversial reality show. But this could be possible only if the party high command allows him to do so.

He said he would first seek the nod of the party high command and his well-wishers before giving his approval to the producer of Big Boss.

Big Boss season -5 will go on air in October and will end by December. The two-month inside the house without any connection with his political activities can be a big challenge for Sidhu, as Punjab is bound to the Assembly polls.

Sidhu said, “I have been offered to participate in Big Boss Season -5, but I have not yet replied to the Colors Channel. It is the question of 90 days and how can I stay away from my work. Moreover the Assembly elections are nearing.”

He added that he would participate in the reality show only when Nitin Gadkari, Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj allow him. After the approval of three leaders, Sidhu will also seek public opinion in Amritsar for joining Big Boss.
