Amritsar: Two Sikh organisations in Punjab have launched an international signature campaign to seek justice for victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and a human rights group, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), will collect signatures in support of riots victims and submit them before UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in November, AISSF President Karnail Singh Peermohammad told a press conference.
"The petition will demand the UN to investigate the systematic, intentional and deliberate killing of Sikhs carried out throughout India in 1984," he said.
