Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor starrer Singham Returns, directed by Rohit Shetty, is going rock steady at the box office. In the first three days itself the film ended up minting Rs 77.64 crore which has made it the second biggest opener of 2014 after Salman Khan’s Kick.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#SinghamReturns Fri 32.09 cr, Sat 21.05 cr, Sun 24.50 cr. Total – 77.64 cr nett. India biz. Ajay Devgn’s BIGGEST OPENER.” Adarsh further posted on Twitter, “#SinghamReturns is the SECOND BIGGEST OPENER of 2014. After #Kick. Note: 3-day weekend. India biz.”

Ajay Devgn’s Singham Returns had one of the highest opening days of all time. It has now beat the records of first day business of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express and Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Kick. All time records in many territories have been broken especially in Mumbai circuit. So far the figures are mighty impressive and we are pretty sure Ajay-Bebo’s film will rake in big moolah in the coming days too.
