Peshawar: A suicide bomber blew himself up inside a Shia madrasa on the outskirts of Peshawar on Friday, killing at least six persons and injuring over 25.

The seminary targeted by the blast is located at Gulshan Colony in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

The bomber targeted the Madrasa Hussainia at a time when 200 men (approx) had gathered for the weekly Friday prayers.

The bomber opened fire before detonating his explosive vest.
