New Delhi: The investigative agency has sounded alert to the Delhi Police that six terrorists from terror groups Lashkaer-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed have entered the national capital to carry out blast at few sensitive places.

According to the calls intercepted by sleuths from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), Delhi Metro, Sena Bhavan and other densely populated parts of the city are in the hit list of the terrorists.

Following the alert, the police administration has increased the surveillance in the capital and made special security arrangements at Sena Bhavan and Metro station. Quick Response Team equipped with latest arms has become active in sensitive parts of the city.

Besides, the Crime branch and special cell have geared up to trace the links of terrorists. Additional security forces have also been deployed in densely populated areas like markets, railway and bus station.

The Delhi police also asked the citizens to remain cautious and immediately inform police about any suspicious person, object and activity.
