FOR DRY SKIN



What to do

Clean face with an aloe-vera based face-wash and applies moisturising lotion. Before going to bed, clean face with rose-water and apply night cream.

What not to do


Avoid alcohol and caffeine. Do not take hot drinks. Do not rub your skin while cleaning.

Home-made remedy

Apply a mixture of  1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon orange juice, 1 teaspoon olive oil, few drops of rose-water and 2 drops of lemon juice on face for 15 minutes and then wash it off.

Diet

Take diet enriched with Vitamin A and B. Eat oatmeal, muesli, spinach and salmon

FOR OILY SKIN



What to do

Wash face 3 to 4 times a day with an aqueous face wash. Apply toner. Follow a regular cleansing and toning skin care regime. Avoid oily face wash. Scrub face with sugar 3-4 times a week.

What not to do

Do not use any oily product. Do not forget to remove make-up before going to bed.

Home-made remedy

Apply curd on face daily. Wash after 15 minutes. You can also use a mixture of 2 teaspoon milk, 2 teaspoon cucumber juice and few drops of lemon juice. Wait till the pack dries, then wash it off.

Diet

Avoid spicy and fried eatables.

FOR NORMAL SKIN



What to do


Use sun-block cream daily. Clean face with gel face-wash and apply day cream. Use alcohol-free toner.

What not to do


Avoid crushed-nut scrub. Do not exfoliate more than twice a week.

Home-made remedy

For a glowing skin, apply a mixture of tomato juice or juice of half orange and 2 teaspoon curd. Gently massage in upward strokes. Wash it with cold water after drying.

Diet

Drink a glass of orange juice as it contains Vitamin C which helps in maintaining supple skin.
