The new model is based on the RS TSI and features a 2.0-liter TSI turbo petrol with a 10 hp bump from the existing RS TSI. The car generates 230 horses, and setup propels the ‘Octy’ RS 230 from 0 to 100 kmph in a respectable 6.7 seconds before topping out at 250 kmph. Skoda says - ‘Octavia RS 230 is the first Škoda to feature – as series-standard – an electronically controlled front differential axle lock for dynamic cornering’ at high speeds.


The company will also showcase the recently revealed Superb at the  Show. The new Superb is based on the parent group - VW’s MQB platform and demonstrates how the future Skoda’s will look.


The third generation Skoda Superb features direct-injected turbocharged motors - five TSI petrol, three TDI common-rail diesel engines. The TSI ranges from 125 HP to 280 HP and the diesel ranges from 120 HP to 190 HP.
