Kolkata: Smriti Mehra shot a stunning three-under 67, studded with five birdies, to win the 11th leg title of the Hero Women's pro Golf Tour on Thursday.

It capped a dominating performance by Smriti who won by 12 shots over young Nalini Singh Siwach (72).

The veteran golfer, Smriti, grabbed her third title of the season having won the second and ninth legs earlier on.

She was also the top pro in the third leg, which was won by amateur Aditi Ashok. Besides the wins, Smriti has also finished second or tied for second in four other events, meaning she has finished in the top-2 of eight of the 11 events. She also maintains her top place in the Hero order of Merit.

Smriti's card of 67 saw her finish the total at even par 210 and she was a stunning 12 shots clear of the second placed Nalini Singh Siwach, the winner of the 10th leg last week. Nalini had a final round of 72 and a total of 222.

Shraddhanjali Singh, who shot 75 in the final round, finished at 224 and in third place, while Ankita Tiwana (75) was fourth with a total of 227.

Vandana Aggarwal of Oil India, whose set the tournament alight with a hole in one in second round dropped to fifth place with a round of 81 and a total of 228. Rani Sonti (78) was sixth at 233.

Smriti birdied the second and fifth holes on the front nine and had no bogeys for a fine two-under 34 while going out. On the back nine she added birdied on the 10th, 12th and 14th holes, but she also dropped bogeys on par-5 13th and the par-4 17th to finish at 67.

Nalini had one birdie against three bogeys, while Shraddhanjali had one birdie, four bogeys and one double bogey in her 75.

This was the 11th leg of the 15-leg Tour and the 12th leg will be held at the Jaypee Greens from February 28 to March 1.
