Madrid: FC Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola says he has still not made up his mind about extending his contract with the Spanish club.

Guardiola`s current contract expires at the end of June but despite time running out, Guardiola is not certain about his future at Camp Nou, a newspaper reports.

"I have not made any decision about it, when I do reach a decision I will tell the club," said Guardiola ahead of Sunday`s La Liga game at home to Valencia.

"If it was just down to me, I would sign for five or six years, it is a personal question, not one for the club or the players. I know that I will not be better anywhere else, but I have to feel I can do the job. I can`t work at a club that is as demanding as this one if I don`t have the strength to do so."

"I am still not certain, so that is why I am not saying that my time has finished here or that I am going to sign a new deal. If the club set me a time limit, we will talk about it and then I will decide, but until then I will work day by day," continued Guardiola, who nevertheless admitted that he was working on planning his club`s pre-season.

"People don`t live on memories, but on the work that we carry out here every day," he added.
