Bhopal: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) will contest the Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh which are due in 2013 end.

"The decision to contest assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh was taken by the party's executive committee meeting chaired by party president Hafiz Manzoor recently in Bhopal,"
SDPI's State Election Committee Chairman Advocate Sajid Siddiqui told reporters on Wednesday.

The party will also take out a mass awareness campaign in the state to "expose" failures of ruling BJP and alleged corruption.

To a question Siddiqui said the party has already constituted 13 units out of 50 districts and rest will be set up between October 20 and November in all districts.
