New Delhi: The much awaited South Indian Telugu film ‘Eega’ is attracting huge crowds to the theatres across the country, soon after its release in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam on Friday.
The socio-fantasy film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli seems to be arousing the interest of children as well as adults simultaneously with its well-knitted storyline and special effects.
Regarded as refreshingly innovative with high technical standards, the movie promises a perfect watch for the cinema lovers. The story of a fly’s reincarnation whose aim is to take revenge from his murderer does not fail to impress the audience.
The story takes off with Naani, an innocent boy who loves Bindu (enacted by Samantha). But as a film is incomplete without a villain, Sudeep, a wicked businessman, enters as the trouble maker in the love story. He is attracted towards Bindu and kills Naani due to insecurity.
However, the true lover Naani returns as a housefly to take his revenge. He makes Sudeep's life miserable by incurring him huge financial losses. Sudeep fails to kill the housefly who ultimately fulfills his purpose.
As told by RGV, it will swipe all Telugu film records and would be the first movie to cross Rs 100 crore as its total collection.
The Rs 40 crore film is expected to hold the audience with its impressive soundtrack composed by M. M. Keeravani.
The film will also release in 3D version by the end of the year.
