Haridwar: Expediting the search in the controversial missing case of two Bangladeshi citizens from one of the trusts owned by Patanjali Yogpeeth, the local police have included Special Operation Group (SOG) apart from state police and local intelligence unit in the search operation.

The move was initiated after the Bangladesh government intervened in the matter.

The police are trying to trace Sanchita Bhattacharya and her son Vishwakanti, who according to the Yoga Gram management were discharged on August 6, are missing from last one month.

A notice under the Foreign Act had been issued to Yoga Gram, asking the management to explain why it did not inform the local police about the arrival of foreigners.
