CPI (M) Central Committee member Mohammed Selim said, "We are against the ordinance route bypassing the Parliament in any form. It is good if Rahul Gandhi has said so.”
    
"Gandhi claims to represent the new generation. Perhaps he has acceded to their wishes," Selim added.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal took a dig at Rahul’s statement and tweeted: “Rahul Gandhi thinks people of this country are fools. They themselves bring the ordinance, and then tear it up.”
