Sonam Kapoor with her mother Sunita has filed a complaint with the Juhu police  under section 380 of the Indian Penal Code, after her daimond necklace worth Rs 5 lakhs went missing from her home, the reports said.

Sonam Kapoor in her complaint said she attended a party on February 4 in Bandra where she was wearing the same jewellery. After returning late night from the party, she kept the diamond necklace in a drawer and later found it missing the next morning.

As per the reports, a famous jewellery brand has given the necklace to the actress as part of an important endorsement deal.

Reports also suggest that the Juhu police officials are investigating the matter from every posiible angle and also questioning the domestic helper of Kapoor residence. The cops will also check the CCTV footage of the party.

Currently, Sonam is busy shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming movie  'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' in Karjat, in which the actress will be seen sharing love chemistry with Salman Khan.
