Vadodara: BJP MP Smriti Irani on Thursday demanded that Congress president Sonia Gandhi should clarify her stand on 'Hindu terrorism' remarks by Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde.
BJP workers on Thursday staged a sit-in, as a part of the party's nation-wide protest against Shinde, at Sayajigunj here.
"If Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh do not sack Shinde, it would imply that they support him," Irani said, demanding that Gandhi state what her stand was.
