The company claims these devices to be highly successful for sharing and storing data in Android devices. These latest drives do not require users to take the assistance of a data cable or Wi-Fi network to transfer the content.

Sony USB flash drive can be easily paired with Android devices, which feature operating system version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above. Device is planned for future compatibility with Android 4.4 KitKat, assured the manufacturer.

These devices can also be used as temporary storage spaces in tablets and smartphones, apart from regular content sharing and transfer. Shielded in a metal body, the pen drives are powerful enough to handle everyday mobile usage.

Sony stated that the new flash drives will be available in of 8, 16 and 32 GB variants and will be priced at USD 19.99, USD 29.99 and USD 62.99.
