These revelations come just days after the company accidently listed the Xperia Z1S on its official global website. Though, it was pulled down immediately as the news got viral.

The images suggest that Sony Xperia Z1S will be running on Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. The price of the smartphone will likely be around USD 590 which is a little less than that of Xperia Z1.

Xperia Z1S will likely be powered by a by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 series CPU along with 2GB RAM and 8 GB in-built storage capacity. It will include a 20.7MP front camera.

The phone will reportedly be launched in the first quarter of 2014. The device is going to be the only smartphone with an incredible chipset and a magnificent camera. Xperia Z1S is Sony’s attempt to compete with other major smartphones that have been dominating the handset market like Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and the HTC One mini. The company has not yet made any official announcements about the specifications and release date of the phone.
