Lucknow: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has once again expressed his dissatisfaction with Akhilesh government’s performance.

He said on Thursday that Samajwadi Party government has brought in positive changes in the state in comparison to the previous government but it needs to act more swiftly for the progress of the people of the state. He termed the state government’s decision to provide free water supply to farmers for irrigation as a historic.
 
“People relied on my words and voted Samajwadi Party to power in the state. We have got the responsibility to come up to their expectations,” He said.

Mulayam Singh was addressing the party workers at party headquarters.
 
“Schemes like doling out unemployment allowances, Kanya Vidya Dhan shows that the government is concerned for the welfare of the common people but the government still has to  work hard in this direction,” added SP chief.
 
He also said that the district officials have been asked to listen to the problems of the people. He also directed the MLA and Ministers to have a proper communication with public and party workers.

Yadav said that the country witnessing a tough phase these days. There is no debate at national level over the issues directly concerning to the farmers, youths and the education system. He also said that if people’s representatives work together for development of the people, they can change face of the nation.
