Bittu demanded a probe from a Supreme Court judge into these incidents, accusing the state government of taking Punjab back to the days of militancy. The lone SAD member present in the House, Sher Singh Ghubaya, vehemently protested his charge and was joined by some BJP members as well. Congress members also shouted back at them, supporting their party colleague Bittu.
