Patna: The applicants for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), whose forms have been rejected, have a reason to rejoice. The efforts put in by them in filing form and preparing for the exam will not go waste. Acquiring a humanistic attitude, the Bihar government has decided to organise a special exam for them in the last week of January 2012.

Talking to reporters in this regard on Tuesday, state Education Minister Prashant Kumar Shahi said, “The results, for the exam to be held on December 20, December 21 and the special exam in January for the applicants whose forms were rejected, will be published in a single list.

He asked the applicants to prepare for the exam with patience and devotion and cooperate in conducting the exam peacefully. He made an appeal to the applicants to cooperate in the distribution of admit cards at the related centres in districts.

Hasan Waris, Director of the State Council for Educational Research and Training, Bihar said, there are 2.22 lakh applicants whose forms were rejected.
