Samsung sent out invitations on Tuesday for "Samsung unPacked 5" event on February 24 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The launch has been brought forward by around three weeks after sales of Samsung's S4 came in weaker than expected, analysts said.

A latest report, doing round in the tech arena, claims that this device is expected to come in two variants. SM-G900H and SM-G900R4 are the two different variants of Samsung Galaxy S5 that are spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks, stated a report by Sammobile.  It is believed that the handset appeared once on AnTuTu benchmarks before its official launch.

Earlier a market report said that Samsung Galaxy S5 might not come up with qHD display. A bigger screen for S5 may not become much of a selling point as Apple is widely expected to introduce large-screen smartphones later this year.

In December 2013, market buzz hinted that Galaxy S5 is expected to come with diamond-coated metal body. As per reports, the company is trying its luck with ‘diamond metal surface treatment technology’, which involves exploding carbon in high temperature.
