Ukranian Yuri Ogrodnik has been with the team even before the Commonwealth Games.
It is believed that action against officials at National Institute of Sports (NIS) would also be taken.
After the dope scandal hit the headlines, Former athletes like Milkha Singh, Ashwini Nachappa had slammed the coaches along with the players. They were of the opinion that in such cases , coaches also have their role to play and they should also be brought under the investigative scanner.
While speaking to a television channel Nachappa stated that doping at such large scale is hinting towards a nexus between the players, coaches and the administrators.
Sports Minister, Ajay Maken has promised to take drastic measures to resolve the issue.
Earlier,adding more shame to the already swelled-up list of Indian athletes who tested positive for banned substances, Commonwealth and Asian Games gold medallist Ashwini Akkunji and Priyanka Panwar too flunked their dope tests on Monday.
Athletics Federation of India had provisionally suspended both the athletes pending a hearing by a NADA disciplinary panel.
