Gaya/Patna,Jan 31 (Agencies): Police on Monday ordered arrest of RJD MLA Surendra Yadav whose two bodyguards allegedly fired at three interns of a Medical college in Gaya while junior doctors went on an indefinite strike paralysing work in most of hospitals across Bihar.
 
Senior Superintendent of Police (Gaya) Amit Lodha said " I have ordered immediate arrest of MLA,Surendra Yadav ".
 
Meanwhile, police have suspended and taken into custody both the bodyguards of MLA Yadav.
 
" We have placed both the police bodyguards under suspension and taken them into custody in connection with the case," Director General of Police Neelmani said in Patna.
 
Abhinandan Yadav and Ashok Yadav the two bodyguards of the MLA allegedly fired at junior doctors at Anugraha Narayan Medical College and Hospital in Gaya in Sunday night after a heated argument took place between medicos and the legislator over delay in treatment of a patient.

Yadav, a four-time MLA from Belaganj Assembly seat in Gaya and Minister for Excise in the erstwhile Rabri Devi cabinet had gone to the hospital with a patient late Sunday evening.
 
Yadav had an argument with the doctors over alleged delay in attending to the patient whom they referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital after which his bodyguards had fired.
