Jaipur: In the long pending meeting that was called by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday morning, all his Cabinet ministers have submitted their resignations.

Gehlot would forward the resignations to the party high command and would also re-constitute his Cabinet.

After the Congress high command expressed annoyance over the Bhanwari Devi case and Gopalgarh issue, miffed Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had called an emergency meeting of state Cabinet on Tuesday morning. The surprise move had given birth to the speculation on a possible Cabinet resignation.

Meanwhile, sacked Rajasthan Minister Mahipal Maderna, a key suspect in the Bhanwari case was admitted to Mathura Das Mathur government hospital on Saturday night and did not appear before the CBI for questioning.

According to sources, he has again been summoned on Tuesday for the questioning by the investigating agency.

Hospital sources on the condition of anonymity said, “The former Minister's supporters want to shift him to AIIMS in New Delhi for treatment but there is no reason for the hospital administration to refer him to the national capital.”
