Kadapa (AP): Andhra Pradesh Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy on Friday said Congress is facing a tough time in the state due to "ineffective leadership".

"I have explained the factual position of the party and about the leadership to AICC special observer Vaylar Ravi during his recent visit," the Minister told reporters at Khajipeta.

He alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is not doing anything to boost the morale of the party workers.

Ravindra also accused Kiran Kumar of having used "backdoor" methods to become the Chief Minister and said Congress could win the upcoming bypolls only if the cadre is united.
