Mumbai: The BSE benchmark Sensex on Saturday fell by over 20 points in the opening of the special trading session as investors booked profits.

The 30-share barometer fell by 20.12 points to 15,847.61. The Sensex had lost over 25 points in previous session.

Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index moved down by 8.30 points to 4,745.80 points.

The market is open for one hour special trading from 11:15 am to 12:45 on Saturday to update bourses' software infrastructure.
