“Kejriwal instead of doing NAUTANKI should join me in exposing Gadkari. He has also filed a defamation case in the same Court against me,” Digvijay tweeted on Thursday.

Scores of AAP supporters on Wednesday clashed with the police personnel defying prohibitory orders outside the high-security Tihar Jail where their party leader Kejriwal was sent by a court after he refused to furnish bail bond of Rs 10,000 in a criminal defamation case filed by Gadkari.

Kejriwal spent the Wednesday night in the same cell in Tihar Jail where Jan Lok Pal Bill crusader Anna Hazare had spent time when he was put behind bars during the massive protests in 2011.

He has been kept alone in order to ensure that he does not come into contact with other inmates due to security reasons.
