New Delhi: Hundreds of irate students gathered outside 1 Anne Marg, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s residence, to protest the serial blasts at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya.

While four blasts took place inside the Mahabodhi Temple complex on Sunday, three occurred in Karmapa monastery, one each near the 80-ft Buddha statue and at the bus stand near bypass.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde has said that the ministry would consider Nitish Kumar’s demand for deployment of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the world famous Buddhist shrine.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested one person in connection with the serial blasts.
