Khartoum: The Secretary General of Sudan's Federation of the Chambers of Agriculture and Animal Production, Hashim Ali Mohamed Khair, has discussed with the Second Secretary at the Indian Embassy in Khartoum, Bharat Kumar, on the ways of bolstering and enhancing the economic ties between Sudan and India.

They also discussed ways of consolidating joint co-operation between the business sectors in the two countries in the fields of agriculture and livestock.

Mohamed Khair enumerated the available opportunities and fields of co-operation such as equipment technology, agriculture, livestock veterinary services and training, while affirming finding suitable mechanisms to benefit from the loans provided by India to Sudan.

The Indian diplomat underlined the importance of joint endeavours and to search for the best ways to strengthen further the relations of co-operation between Sudan and India, particularly in the field of agricultural and animal production, referring to the Indian capabilities and expertise in those fields.
