Ranchi: The Rs 411.07 crore supplementary budget for the year 2012-2013 was on Tuesday passed amid pandemonium for the second consecutive day in the Jharkhand Assembly.

Speaker CP Singh had to adjourn the House several times during the day before finally putting it off till Wednesday after passing the supplementary budget amidst the din.

The House witnessed noisy scenes as Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) MLAs continued with their protest to press for their demands like addressing the problems of the displaced people.

The Congress MLAs trooped into the well in protest against poor law and order situation in the state.

Ruling MLAs of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Ajsu party were also seen in the well to show solidarity for the demands of the agitating para-teachers.

The CPI (ML-Liberation) MLA Vinod Kumar Singh’s adjournment motion on the demands of para-teachers was rejected by the Speaker.

Earlier on Monday, a  MLA ripped off his shirt in the Assembly to press for a slew of demands amidst din in the House, leading to the adjournment of the whole day.

The Monsoon Session is scheduled to end on Thursday.
