Till the construction of permanent toilets, temporary toilets should be made in all schools of the country till November 30, ruled the court specifying that all the state governments should file affidavits about the progress of work by November 30.

These directions were issued by the Apex Court bench presided over by Justice Dalbir Bhandari while hearing the matter related to providing basic amenities.

On Tuesday, the court came to know that almost 300 schools in UP are not providing drinking water. The court termed it to be the violation of fundamental rights.
