Lucknow: The BJP has continued its attacks on the Congress over reservation row. Leader of the opposition Sushma Swaraj on Friday took a dig at the Union ministers Salman Khurshid and Beni Prasad in the Lok Sabha. She accused Salman Khurshid for raising conflict on reservation issue to provide an edge to his wife Louise Khurshid in the elections.

Criticising Khurshid’s act of mocking the constitutional body she said, “Expressing disappointment on such issue is not enough, if the Prime Minister had sacked Khurshid, Beni Prasad would have never raised the same issue again and dared the Election Commission.”

“The commission should have taken a strict action against Khurshid rather than just demanding an apology.” she added.

Sushma termed the reservation episode as desperation of the Congress to grab minority votes.
